Thanksgiving Day

Thanksgiving. A poem by Ivy O. Eastwick.
Thank you for all my hands can hold,
apples red, and melons gold, yellow corn both ripe and sweet,
peas and beans so good to eat!
Thank you for all my eyes can see
lovely sunlight, field and tree, white cloud-boats
in sea-deep sky, soaring bird and butterfly.
Thank you for all my ears can hear
birds' song echoing far and near, songs of little stream, big sea, cricket, bullfrog,
duck and bee!

Thanksgiving Magic. A poem by Rowena Bastin Bennett.
Thanksgiving Day I like to see our cook perform her witchery. She
turns a pumpkin into pie as easily as you or I can wave a hand or wink an eye.
She takes left over bread and muffin and changes them to turkey stuffen'. She
changes cranberries to sauce and meats to stews and stews to broths;
And when she mixes gingerbread it turns into a man instead
with frosting collar 'round his throat and raisin buttons down his coat. Oh, like some
magic made by wands, and some read magic out of books, and some like fairy
spells and charms but I like magic made by cooks!

Today was Thanksgiving Day, so I decided to do these two poems. We also took out our big fold-out table. In this picture the table is all set up.
From Pictureka!

Then here are the pies. On the right, you'll see apple pie that Marina made (With my help!). On the left, you'll see a chocolate with regular whipped cream and vanilla with chocolate whipped cream.
And now for separate. Apple pie by Marina.

Chocolate with regular whipped cream and vanilla with chocolate whipped cream. Oh! And it also has chocolate biscotti crumbs on top. Mom calls it a black and white custard cream pie. Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I was bored. So I decided to draw pictures on the computer. On the computer, I made pictures like........ "The Star". This one I based on Christmas.
Also the one I like the best........... Cat "Loaf". It looks like I just drew it right here. Sometimes our cats lie down in a pose we call "cat loaf", that's what I based it on. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!

The Moon

This is a very nicely taken picture of the moon. Do you see that crater on the edge? You wouldn't have seen that if we didn't have the editor, which has zoom.

With these ones I just played with. This one I put face on.

Then down here I drew in the sun and put a face on it and the moon. I made it look like they were talking to each other. Like neighbors would.

Tired Tooth Fairy

The tooth fairy was probably overworked, the first day she took the tooth and left a dollar coin. This time she left the tooth and a dollar coin. She must of not wanted to have to carry another tooth.

The Second Tooth

Double that, today I lost another loose tooth! It's so funny! The tooth fairy is probably going to say "I just came here last night!". I thought I looked a little funny without a tooth on both sides of my two adult teeth.

The FearlessFlying Tooth

Well, guess why I'm holding a tooth and why one of my teeth are missing. I lost my tooth. See, I got a pair of jeggings/jeans+leggings, and the tag was on a ribbon. I tried to bite through it, but it ended with my tooth flying through the air and me not screaming one bit. I found my tooth just sitting on the bed. And it was a loose tooth.
