This was one of my very special pets named Lizzie. This photo was shot November 2009. She was an anole. An anole is a type of lizard. She lived for a year. She died near the middle of the month December 2009. She was really funny. We lost her for ten days too, and found her in our cat, Rosie's mouth. But Rosie held her very carefully. But Lizzie was very dried out and hungry. Did you know you can feed anoles baby food? Well, you can!

Winter is Coming
I tried to take these pictures fast because the birds were eating! This Mourning Dove was hard to take.
This Nuthatch went ZOOM, to the feeder, ZOOM, and away!! Lucky, the camera went faster!!! With this picture, you can see his feet.
This is Red-Bellied Woodpecker was fast too. It was very cool that I got his feet.

Thanksgiving Day
Thanksgiving. A poem by Ivy O. Eastwick.
Thank you for all my hands can hold,
apples red, and melons gold, yellow corn both ripe and sweet,
peas and beans so good to eat!
Thank you for all my eyes can see
lovely sunlight, field and tree, white cloud-boats
in sea-deep sky, soaring bird and butterfly.
Thank you for all my ears can hear
birds' song echoing far and near, songs of little stream, big sea, cricket, bullfrog,
duck and bee!
Thanksgiving Magic. A poem by Rowena Bastin Bennett.
Thanksgiving Day I like to see our cook perform her witchery. She
turns a pumpkin into pie as easily as you or I can wave a hand or wink an eye.
She takes left over bread and muffin and changes them to turkey stuffen'. She
changes cranberries to sauce and meats to stews and stews to broths;
And when she mixes gingerbread it turns into a man instead
with frosting collar 'round his throat and raisin buttons down his coat. Oh, like some
magic made by wands, and some read magic out of books, and some like fairy
spells and charms but I like magic made by cooks!
Today was Thanksgiving Day, so I decided to do these two poems. We also took out our big fold-out table. In this picture the table is all set up.

Then here are the pies. On the right, you'll see apple pie that Marina made (With my help!). On the left, you'll see a chocolate with regular whipped cream and vanilla with chocolate whipped cream.
Chocolate with regular whipped cream and vanilla with chocolate whipped cream. Oh! And it also has chocolate biscotti crumbs on top. Mom calls it a black and white custard cream pie. Happy Thanksgiving!

Today, I was bored. So I decided to draw pictures on the computer. On the computer, I made pictures like........ "The Star". This one I based on Christmas.
Also the one I like the best........... Cat "Loaf". It looks like I just drew it right here. Sometimes our cats lie down in a pose we call "cat loaf", that's what I based it on. Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving!

The Moon
This is a very nicely taken picture of the moon. Do you see that crater on the edge? You wouldn't have seen that if we didn't have the editor, which has zoom.
Then down here I drew in the sun and put a face on it and the moon. I made it look like they were talking to each other. Like neighbors would.

Tired Tooth Fairy
The tooth fairy was probably overworked, the first day she took the tooth and left a dollar coin. This time she left the tooth and a dollar coin. She must of not wanted to have to carry another tooth.

The FearlessFlying Tooth
Well, guess why I'm holding a tooth and why one of my teeth are missing. I lost my tooth. See, I got a pair of jeggings/jeans+leggings, and the tag was on a ribbon. I tried to bite through it, but it ended with my tooth flying through the air and me not screaming one bit. I found my tooth just sitting on the bed. And it was a loose tooth.

Weird, True, And Freaky (2)
This, is the weirdest thing I ever saw. We don't even know what it is. If you poke it with a stick, it will mush in. Kind of like when you're putting your marshmallow on a stick when you're roasting marshmallows. It is really weird. Oh, and by the way, do you know what this thing is? It is attached to the ground. It's the size of a soccer ball, or bigger then my head. This is really weird.

The Cliffs of Insanity
Once (When it was warmer.) I was going on a walk with Marina, Chase, and my dad. It's nice to go on a walk. My dad wanted to go on the cliffs. We used to get lost a lot on the cliffs. We like to call the cliffs the Cliffs of Insanity, which is from a movie and book called "The Princess Bride". This is a picture of Marina, Chase, and my dad in front of the Cliffs of Insanity

My Pet Stick Bugs
I now have five pet Stick Bugs, who are very funny. They are very funny because, when I take one of them out of their tank, that one Immediately starts putting it's hands in the air like it's saying "Woo-hoo! I'm free!".
That up there is it sticking it's hands in the air. The one below, my brother Chase insists we put on a website called Lolcats With the caption: Face Hugger, your doing it wrong. And it's okay, at this website, they mean to spell words wrong. so for "your" instead it's "ur". And it's a really, really funny website.
My Cat Merlin
This morning I woke up, seeing that my mom and Marina had went somewhere, I sat down next to Merlin on the window seat. Then I rubbed him, and while I was rubbing him, he rolled over on his back! It was really funny. All though Chase, my brother, was still home, he was still asleep. Then later (When my mom and Marina were home, and Chase was awake.) I was playing with Merlin. He really likes playing with pom-poms. He loves to jump up in the air and catch the pom-pom. On his belly it looks a little like a white heart!

Nature All Around Me (7) ( The Nature Project)
This I made out of nature things. I call it "The Nature Project". It was simple to make.
Here is what I used to make it: A strong spider web. (With no spiders in it.) A tiny flower laying around. Tiny feathers. A leaf laying around.
You can see above the detail of the feathers and flower. I stuck everything on the spider web. I tried to make it look pretty, cause at the moment I was outside and bored. I made it by hanging up the spider web and then decorating it. You can do this at home, just make sure there aren't any spiders in the spider web.

Nature All Around Me (6) ( The Milkweed Bugs)
These are Milkweed Bugs. What's the plant they're sitting on? It's a Milkweed plant. I really like the picture below. My mom likes it too. Those fluffy things in front, they're Milkweed seeds. Why is the plant called a Milkweed? Well, it has a liquid that looks like milk, but this is poisonous. It's also how the Monarch butterfly makes itself taste bad.
Today was really windy, so the Milkweed Bugs were all piled up. (That's what they do when it's really cold.)

Nature All Around Me (5) ( The Praying Mantis)
OMG! OMG! OMG! Last night we saw a Praying Mantis! Awesome! We never ever saw a real live Praying Mantis. It's very awesome to finally see one. I mean totally awesome. I was sitting, and well I was sitting, I noticed a big bug. I was thinking it was a Praying Mantis, so just in caseI looked for the camera first, I couldn't find it, so I went over to see what it was. IT'S A PRAYING MANTIS!!!!!!!!

My Godmother's Birthday
This time, I just posted to talk. Today I'm talking about how I went to the beach with my grandma, my grandpa, my godmother Kathy, my uncle Rich, my brother Chase, my one cousin Braden, and my other baby cousin Dylan. My one cousin Braden is really fun to play with, but I also like being with my other cousin Dylan. It's pretty nice to have two cousins like them. We had lots and lots of fun together. I came cause it was my godmother's birthday. The weather was having fun making a little big flood. It had been pouring rain!
(Thank you grandma for taking me there!)

Nature All Around Me (3)
This is a BumbleBee. Once I was stung on my lip, and until it healed I had a bump on the inside of my mouth. It was a pretty weird feeling. Oops, I said that wrong, really weird feeling. This is a cute BumbleBee, cause it's tiny. I know that Wasps and Hornets can sting twice, and HoneyBees and BumbleBees can only sting once. I pretty much know everything about them. Once I tried to save a bee, cause it got wet. So one day it flew up in the air and I was like "I've saved a Bee!" and then it started flying at me, realizing it was trying to sting me, I started running. I wasn't stung too badly, so I was okay.
